Loco Loco Kiwi Loco

Sooooooo I can't find my camera ANYWHERE and I'm kinda a picture taking mama freak, so this is a problem. I want to remember everyday of Kyler's cute little babyhood life. Yes, I realize I'm a dork, and I'm okay with that. We have an older camera, but I just found out that it's charger is broken, and the memory card doesn't fit in my new laptop. SOOOO I guess I'll just have to make do with the video camera for now. Even though it takes very blurry pictures...

Give us a break. It's finals week. Can you tell how well it is going?

Kyler got his first balloon yesterday at Kiwi Loco (amazing frozen yogurt place).  He looooved it, and it kept him entertained for 20 minutes straight.

Ps, Do I really sound this annoying in person? yikes,  i'm sorry....

The other day I caught Kyler feeding Bauer yogo bites from his high chair.... and ever since then Bauer has been Kyler's best friend.  Every time I put ky on the ground Bauer comes over and lays down next to him.

We have been going on lots of walks lately! We average 2-3 walks a day.  It is so pretty out here.  Not too hot, and not too cold. PERFECT.

This is Kyler's newest favorite toy.  We are borrowing it from my neighbor Carley.  She is so nice to let us use so many of her daughter's toys!  I love that I don't have to buy expensive things for him, and I don't have to find a place to store them after he outgrows them.  :)

I have been blonde for over a week now.  I wouldn't say that I like it any more or any less than I did the first day I got it dyed, but I will say that I have noticed that people treat me differently as a blonde!

Go ahead, call me crrrrrazy, but I swear people treat me nicer.  WAY nicer.
Weird, but it's the truth! 

ps TWO more week until we go to the cabin with jared's fam and until my fam's reunion at the beach house!

Take Me BACK

I miss Hawaii, and I wanna go back!  Who wouldn't?

I miss MY beach, and building SAND-snow-men for Jared

I miss all of my friends

I miss having a new adventure to look forward to everyday

Okay, so the one thing I DONT miss about Hawaii is being thousands of miles away from Jared, and only seeing him once, the entire 4 months I was there.  Thank goodness I wont ever have that problem again!

 I told Jared to apply to medical school in Hawaii....but after doing some research we found out that they only accept like 1 person from the mainland. blahhhh.

This week went by pretty fast!  We had a fun 4th of July weekend.  Kyler LOVED the fireworks.  I was a little nervous about the noise scaring him, but it didn't! 

Kyler rolls/wiggles around so much now that he often finds himself trapped!  He gets stuck under the kitchen table... between couches... or like in this picture, under his crib!  I'm finally starting to have to baby-proof the house!

PS, Jared only has TWO weeks left of the semester! woooohoooo!

Braved Up!

I can't believe how fast this summer is going by.

And how grown up this little boy is getting

Kyler USED to stay in whatever position I put him down in for the whole night.  

Now, however, he has a mind of his own, and every time I go in to check on him he is in a new different position...some of them are quite funny!

Ky is starting to get a little farmer's tan action going on, and I still love those yummy thigh rolls.
I think I am starting to feel self conscious for him though. I know what you are thinking...oh what a mom...hahah  I don't mind when people comment and say say things like "oh he is sooo chubby!"  or "Look at those thigh rolls!"  Because I know he is chubby, and I agree!  but it bothers me when people just go on and on about how huge he is every time they see him. It makes ME feel self conscious FOR him. lol I guess I am already becoming an over protective mom.

I love Child Consignment stores. If you search, you can find the cutest things for dirt cheap!  This little outfit, for example, including the shoes, was 2 dollars!

I finally braved up and went ALL THE WAY blonde yesterday.Please excuse the yellow lighting...haha bad pic I know. It looks A LOT better in person :p

I wanted to try something new! 
I like it!  Of course I like my natural brown hair better, but this is fun for the summer.
The worst part about having the new hairstyle for me, is friends staring and talking about it.  haha I HATE being the center of attention.
