In November, Jared turned 36 and Kyler turned 9 years old! Jared and I went out to dinner, and shopping for his birthday. The kids wanted to make daddy some birthday cupcakes, and Lyla blew out his birthday candles because he was taking too long hah. We celebrated Kyler's birthday at The Classic Fun Center. Kyler loves the super hero "Flash" and wanted the invitations to have Flash on them. The boys played arcade games, played in bouncy houses, and played dodge ball. We went on a crazy busy day and it was stressful keeping track of everyone, but we survived. The twins had their preschool pictures taken and they turned out adorable! We celebrated Thanksgiving at Aunt Lashauns.
December was a busy month! My new calling at church as compassionate service leader kept me busy, and I helped plan the ward Christmas party and RS Christmas party as well. We celebrated the twins' 5th birthday at Olympus Gymnastics center. We rented out the entire gym for the party, and it was so much fun! Way less crazy/stressful than Kyler's party and we had double the amount of kids. Frozen 2 came out and we saw it twice! Cousin Joshua got baptized, my mom came to visit, the twins and Kyler both had Christmas programs at school/preschool, I got my hair highlighted, we celebrated Christmas, and went to St George! For Christmas this year, we got our family season passes to Lagoon, movies, and games. Kyler got a rock tumbler, gemstones, an airplane that flies (controlled by an app on his phone, spy tools, balloon animal kit, pjs, soccer slippers, matching ties and shirts, a flash hat, and a batman motorcycle toy. Ryan got a giant marble run set, a soggy doggy game, a lego set, a kids drone flying blue ball, an assembly car with tools, matching ties and shirts and toy grabber claws. Lyla got a makeup table and play blow dryer, a makeup kit, a new polly pocket, a mermaid that swims in the bath, my little ponies and cars set, and hair accessories and jewelry. Zoey got a toddler piano and microphone, a new elsa dress, fisher price loving family figures, a melissa and doug magnet patterns set, hair accessories and jewelry, and a coin purse. Jared and I both got apple watches and watch bands and new clothes/ gift cards. We are very blessed and spoiled! We had the scrams over Christmas Eve, and then spent Christmas day at Aunt Kerri's.
We rang in the new year in St George with my parents, em's fam, and bens fam. We went to their community rec center and there were tons of games/bounce houses and fun! My parents came up to visit for cousin Dani's baptism. Jared and I went on a date to Christopher's Prime, and we went to the temple. We inherited Jared's grandparents piano from Lashaun, and decided to give it a facelift by painting it white! It was a lot of work, but I love how it turned out. Near the end of January we took a ski trip with my brother and nieces. Kyler did great at ski school! We didn't have too much snow nov-Jan, but it was still cold. The twins had a field trip to the Zoo in January and it was freezing.
In February we finally had a good snow storm! Kyler is still playing soccer for Utah Glory (thank goodness for indoor soccer in the winter!) He has improved so much this winter! We went out to Valentines lunch with Jared's family at Maddox and we renewed our aquarium membership. Last, but not least, the twins' graduated from speech therapy! I'm so proud of how far they have come and am confident that they will do great in kindergarten next fall.
