Our family reunion was just over a month ago, and I'm just now getting around to posting the home movie I made from it. I blame moving and getting a new job, but hey- better late than never~
My life is extremely: chaotic-hectic-wild-exciting-flustering-vibrant- and sometimes zoolike....but occasionally it is also:
-laid back and peaceful-
I work 30+ hours a week taking care of other people's kids (in addition to my own) and I love it!...but every once in a while I get a whole day that is just me and Kyler, and I love that most.
We laze around together, snuggle on the couch (for a whole 10 seconds that he will stay still) play games, go on walks, do chores together, and do anything else Kyler wants. That little boy has me wrapped around his chubby little finger. I love "our time" together.
I made this video of Kyler by compiling random video clips from my phone and adding music. It's nothing fancy, but something to be able to look back on in the years to come and remember what life was like when he was this age. I still can't believe he will be TWO next week!
PS. We finally made the HUGE decision concerning our future(schooling/career and where we will be living)...more on that later!
I popped my SD card from my video camera into my laptop to create Kyler's next movie, but when I opened up the files I was shocked to find that I had only taken TWO short video clips in the past 3 months. Wooop! Slacker mom right here. So I had to resort to using video clips from my phone, which makes for a very grainy poor quality movie, but hey, it works. Here is Kyler 17months-20 months.
We have had a very busy and fun week, including a trip to the beach for Easter! Kyler absolutely loved the beach. He was literally squealing in delight when he got SUPER messy in the sand. I didn't even try to stop him.
Isn't getting messy without being told "no" every toddler boy's dream?
Sunday morning church was awesome, and then we headed to the beach for an Easter egg hunt.
Easter was so fun having a kid who could actually hunt for Easter eggs, and I'm sure they will only get more fun as he grows older.
Needless to say, I think Kyler is enjoying being spoiled rotten during his time as an only child.
I have to post a picture of Bauer for all of our nieces and nephews, who are absolutely obsessed with our dog (it's okay, we kinda are too).
Bauer loves the beach too. However, getting all of the sand out of his fur after playing in the ocean is a pain in the bootay.
After Bauer fetches a ball we always tell him to "drop it". This week Kyler started saying "dawp it!". I can't stop smiling every time he says it, I just think it is the cutest thing ever! I seriously oogle and awgle over him all day long, over all of the new things he is learning. I love being a mom!
Sometimes I get jealous of people who have careers, and the social lives that come along with working, but then I just think about how lucky I am to I get to spend all of my time with Kyler...watching him learn and grow, and teaching him new things about life. It really is the best job ever. It is difficult at times, true, but there is something about it that is so satisfying and rewarding when he wraps his little arms around my neck and snuggles up close to me. I can't imagine ever having a life without him.
I just finished putting together another cute movie! This is the first video I have made where Kyler is WALKING in it, so I added that short clip at the beginning in case you missed it.... Enjoy:

Super long blog post, I know, but thanks for stopping by!
I realize it’s January and I’m a little late making our family memory movie for November and December, but hey, better late than never. This one took me extra long to make because I downloaded a new movie maker…so you’ll have to let me know what you think! Oh and sorry for the insane amount of videos and pics on this post.
While we were at our family beach house, my sister, Melanie, took our 2012 family pics for us! Here are a few of my favs:
We have really been enjoying all the time we have been able to spend together these last few weeks!
Here is another short video clip-it’s SO cute!
Kyler LOVES bath time. I mean LOVES it:
Shortly after our move here to Charlotte, Schrammah threw a tea -less party (hot chocolate) for the grandkids. Bauer (her grand-dog) even joined in the fun, this pic cracks me up:
This is the last video, and shortest! Drum roll please.....Kyler's first steps!!
(please ignore my morning pjs haha oh and that's his binky I took and held in my teeth to coax him to walk to me)
He still prefers to crawl, but is taking more and more steps everyday. It's so fun watching him gain confidence and learn new things.
Family home movie of Sept and Oct 2011. Just a warning, they are REALLY random clips, because we did so many different things these past two months- yellowstone, bear world, conference in salt lake, Kyler’s firsts haircut and taste of pepsi, the farmer’s market, the strawmaze….you’ll see what I mean!
Whew! It looks like Jared survived his LAST FIRST week of college. Jared only needed 2 more classes to graduate, but he decided that he wanted to take 4 classes for fun. This confuses me. Oh and by fun, I mean classes like Advanced Neuroscience and Histology with a three hour lab. This confuses me further.
Husband-that's-handsome-and-talented-say WHAT!??! (sorry been a little Hannah Montana deprived lately)
No but really, I love how he never takes the easy way out, and does the best he can at everything. Way to go babe!
OH, and also this week, he submitted his application to medical school!!!!!!
Last week, Jared's parents were here, and we had so much fun! We went to lots of fun places like: Bear World, Yellow Stone, and Jackson, Wyoming to see my brother in-law, Sean, finish a 206 mile bike race!
oh you know, just a black bear right in front of our car. no biggie.
The scariest bear in all of Bear World.
Grandpa had to take this picture to show to Mark....WHITE ELK.
Here is the promised family home movie. It's so cute, I just can't stop watching it. We had such a fun summer. I turned the heater on this morning because its FREEZING here today..boooo! Good bye summer, you've been great!
Just a few pictures and video clips from April and May. Family Memories~ aka another video for my little niece Maelee and nephew Nathan to watch over and over again...lol
Yesterday was our first day since moving from California and it was SOOO warm... like 80 degrees! We were thinking, "Maybe weather outside Cali won't be so bad afterall". Then we woke up this morning to 4 inches of snow! Seriously?! How does it go from 80 degrees to snowy?! Oh well, we can't complain too much. We enjoyed good weather all winter long. Here is a video from our time in California:
We didn't have a video camera until Kyler was already a few weeks old... so I put together some pics and video clips from my camera to remember Ky's first few weeks of life :)
I finally finished The Cabin video! We LOVE going to the cabin. Staying up late playing games...eating all of the best foods...falling asleep to the sound of the crick...waking up to all of the nieces and nephews giggling and playing...going on walks...watching "the kids" dance...riding four wheelers... watching Bauer spaz out and eat every stick and pine-cone in sight....watching the kids spaz out over bauer...and most of all, spending time with family.
It's basically a bunch of random pictures and video clips I have taken from summer 2009-summer 2010.... so if you aren't an Antczak, you will probably think this is boring, but feel free to watch anyways!
Today is mine and Jared's 1st Anniversary!! This year has just flown by, but at the same time... looking back.. a lot has happened!

is so important to us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLXYxmaHWQs
