I braved up and got my hair highlighted.  I'm normally one who hates change, and gets nervous about what other people will think  (especially when I was in highschool, I was the WORST) but all of the sudden, I don't really care anymore, and it feels great!

Jared and I can't decide.  Is he the little piggy who went to the market? or the little piggy who had roast beef? Because we defintely know he isn't- the little piggy who stayed home, had none, or went wee weee wee wee all the way home, because rolling over is about as far as he can go.

First taste of baby food

Kyler (5 months old) finally had his first taste of baby food!  He didn't really know what to do with it once it was in his mouth...  :)

Moved In!!!

Well, we are finally moved in. (special thanks to grandma and grandpa for all of their help!!) I can't believe i'm saying this, but it feels GREAT to be back in Rexburg. Yes, Rexburg is just a small college town, BUT.... we no longer have to worry about our neighbors breaking into our car. We no longer hear gun-shots out our window when we are trying to fall asleep. Nobody begs us for money when we are stopped at a redlight, or when we walk to our car outside of walmart. I can take Bauer out at night and not be scared! and the list goes on and on... I mean we LOVED living in Cali, we really did! but I guess Rexburg has it's ups too. 

IT IS SAFE.

Happy 100th Post!!

I have been in the blogging world for just over a year and a half, and today I finally reached my 100th post!

We'll be here for the next week or so until our apartment is ready in Rexburg. Lucky us we have tons of family that live in Utah! It has been fun getting to catch up and spend time with them.

Here are my niece and nephew putting their heads under Kyler's car seat cover to look at his night light with him. So cute!



Kyler LOVES this night light. We love it too! We got it from Ikea... The colors change, there is a cord to charge it with (so that means no batteries!)and it is made out of rubber, so it doesnt break when you drop it! Whenever it is time for bed, we put him in his crib and turn this nightlight on and he falls right to sleep

Goodbye Cali

Yesterday was our first day since moving from California and it was SOOO warm... like 80 degrees! We were thinking, "Maybe weather outside Cali won't be so bad afterall". Then we woke up this morning to 4 inches of snow! Seriously?! How does it go from 80 degrees to snowy?! Oh well, we can't complain too much. We enjoyed good weather all winter long.
