Summer Break!

The break from school has been SOO nice. This time last year we were hurrying getting wedding plans in order, and it was just crazy. Now, we have no stresses, or big things we need to get done, and its been RELAXING. We love spending time together. Together is our favorite place to be!

This week we have been doing things we have wanted to do in Idaho, but have never had the time to do. We went to the Grand Teton Dam Museum in Rexburg, and then we drove out to the actual dam itself!This is the Dam that broke 30 years ago, after only 8 months of being used. It flooded many cities, and a few people were even killed. They were lucky that it broke at noon, and people had time to get to cover. The water traveled over 60 mph!

We also went to Idaho Falls and had a pick-nick at sunset up by the windmills. I had been wanting to do that since my freshman year of college, and we finally did it now that im graduated.

Welp, school is out, and I am a GRADUATED woman! It feels sooo good to be done! Today was my first day not having to do homework/study/worry about or even THINK about classes. Here is what we did:

-I woke up at 8 hungry as ever. Jared slept in til 10.
-We took Bauer on a walk
-Cleaned the apartment, did dishes, and laundry.
-Went to the dog park, and played in the river
-Took a nap :)
-Went to DQ
-Went shopping at Down East
-Hung out with Josh and Carley

Day 1 in the life of graduated Charlene has been fantastic. :)

I'm pregnant. I cry on a regular basis. I believe the last time was yesterday. I said something mean to jared (I dont even remember what I said) anyways, I said something mean, and then I WAS THE ONE WHO CRIED. cause i felt bad :)

8. Who was the last person you took a picture of?
Jared and Bauer with my phone. It was so cute! jared was laying on the ground watching tv with his head on a pillow, and Bauer came up and laid next to him with HIS head on the same pillow too.

9. Was yesterday better than today?
Nope! Im graduated citizen today. That makes it MUCH better.

10. Can you live a day without TV?
sure NO PROB.

11. Are you upset about anything?
yes. we dont have air conditioning and I am DYING.

12. Do you think relationships are ever really worth it?
yes. duuuhhh

13. Night out or night in?
Definitely night in. I get tired all the time.

14. What items could you not go without during the day?
Probably my cell phone, because I'm paranoid about getting lost and stranded. even in a small town like rexburg. hah kinda funny.

15. Who was the last person you visited in the hospital?
Carley after she had Sophia 7 months ago

16. What does the last text message in your inbox say?
"homework?" i would explain... but i dont even know what it means or why jared sent it to me. pshh like i will EVERRR do homework again.

17. Say you were given a drug test right now, would you pass?
Never touched a drug in my life. AND im preggo, so i sure hope so!

18. What do you miss?
hmmm Chick-fil-a. is number one on my list. Followed closely by my family, georgia, and the beach house oh and HAWAII!

19. What song is stuck in your head?
"come on baby, do the locomotion" woke up with it in my head. Apparently that is what I was dreaming about?

20. Someone knocks on your window at 2:00 a.m., who do you want it to be?
nobody. thats creepy.

21. Do you want to have grandkids before you’re 50?
well, i'll be 22 when the baby is born. So there is a good chance I WILL be a grandma before im 50.

Church in the morning!! :) yay! I love Sundays.

Summer Trips to the Park

Memories

Last night I went to the ward Hawaiian Luau at church, with my friend Carley, because both of our husbands were still at school. The food was...eh... i dont know when crock pot chicken and white rice became Hawaiian food, but whatever, cant complain cause it was FREE. The Polynesian Club came from BYU-I to perform after dinner. My favorite part of the show was when they made old Relief Society Ladies try to do a Hawaiian dance on the stage. :) Anyways the night brought back lots of memories of living in Hawaii, so I decided to put the video I made last year on the blog.

We finally went baby shopping..because we know IT'S A BOY! These are the clothes we got. They are sooo cute! I keep randomly pulling them out every few days just to look at them :)
